I’m redecorating my son’s room this summer so I’ve been scouring the web looking for budget friendly ways to customize his room. He’s at that age where he’s transitioning from a boy to a teen so he’s very vocal about what he does and doesn’t want. I wanted to share some creative DIY’s I’ve come across in my search for the perfect boy room. Some of these DIY’s are for younger boys but most will work for all ages. If you’re redecorating your son’s room, hopefully, you’ll find an idea or two to use during your project!

Nerf guns are a popular toy among many, many children, and it’s easy to see why. They’re super fun to play with but they also keep danger to a minimum. Making this incredible nerf storage board will keep all of their guns in place and not all over the house.
7. Industrial Laundry Hoop

I don’t know about yours but my son has an aversion to walking three feet to throw his dirty clothes in the hamper. Something like this might actually motivate him to get his clothes into the laundry basket.

My son saw this shelf unit and declared it was exactly wanted he wanted for the background in his YouTube videos. He’s almost thirteen so it clearly appeals to teens and younger boys alike.
